My friend has an old Micron MPC Pro Q pc running Win 98.  He's on dialup
ISP.  His modem quit the other day, and we're trying to put a replacement
in.

I have a machine that is running windows 98.  The machine
has become sluggish and hangs very often.  I suspected a

I am running Windows 98 SE on a PII 400 with 256Mb of

Help!  I have a Toshiba laptop PII, running windows98.  
Peformance is very slow - I have run scandisk and
defrag.  I have been told that I may have a lot of

autocomplete form quit working on ebay during search of
dropdown boxes. It works on other web sites. Of course all
proper boxes are checked, or it wouldn't work anywhere.

98se, have run adaware, spybot, pccillin, checked
taskmanager and msconfig in safe mode, as it won't run in
regular mode. any ideas why msconfig won't run in regular
mode? thanks
