I had windows 98 SE with 64MB RAM and I purchased a 128MB
RAM upgrade to 192MB.  Everything worked fine until last
week I reinstalled my Windows 98 SE and the system now
only recognizes 64MB only.  I had checked the memory slots

is working.  downloading fine but closing out of windows

I am receiving a error message when I shut down "cannot

Performance on my laptop (windows 98 SE) has degraded over

HI,, when I first boot up my computer i always have about
90-92% resources,, I go to msconfig,, and these are
checked:
scanregistry; taskmonitor, system checked, ISTsvc,

What is this directory $vault$.avg? It has been created recently and
has 2 files in it with .fil extensions.

Anybody know why my windows 98SE runs slow and momentarily
hangs, while over-accessing the HDD? Did all the virus
checks and spyware cleaning. The behavior is random and
temporary, but sometimes lasts for a while

crms32.dll file is missing.
I can't use the internet, aim, or outlook.

How difficult is it to test the power supply for my
computer myself? I have little a volt meter that has range
to 500 DCV and ACV, will that work?

How do I get tweak loaded?  I got an old EXE file and ran
it OK. It left 4 files in the \TEMP.  but there was no EXE
nor COM file.  I have no icon, startMenu, nor ControlPanel
entries for PowerToys nor Tweak.

I have windows 98 on my PC.Whenever I run Scandisk ,the
computer is unable to scan the disk having Windows and it
restarts scanning once in every five minutes.It gives a
message that some software is writing on c: drive.
