Recently I've had a problem with what appears to be an
application(program) that is running in the background. I
have not been able to pinpoint the culprit. Because of
this problem, I cannot run my disc defragmenter or even do

All of my computer's images are distorted. For instance,
pictures cannot be viewed properly, webpage backgrounds
are seen as dots and all graphics seem to be faded,

about half the time.  Because of this I cannot use

the computer always shuts down or never shuts down)

I've purchased a new game and it installed but when I went
to play it my computer came back with a loader error
something to do with oleaut32.dll I searched the internet
for a newer version and loaded it to my computer but I'm

I added ram and upgraded to WINXP.  Removed WINXP upgrade
due to other problems but don't know how to recover added

I have a dual boot system with Win. 98 and Xp Pro. A
problem has occured in Win. 98 after it boots up. The
system hangs and the HD sounds like it is turning on and
off. This only happens in Win. 98. I never encounter this
