My computer froze up, shut down and restarted now I have a
black screen with all kinds of Windows copyright
information and the :\WINDOWS> with a blinking cursor.

Each time I reboot (or close) Win98SE, the shared setting in
My Computer for each drive on the computer is lost (the blue
hand disappears), thus losing the shared symbol and the
ability to share on my LAN.
