This is really strange.
I am using OE vers 6.
It is a new installation.
When I compose an email or reply to an email, I get the following

I recently had to format my hard drive due to a crash and after I re
installed Win98 it is now running very slowly eg doudle clicking icons on the
desktop takes about 10seconds to open. Before the crash it was running fine.

Can anyone tell me if "Virtual Memory" is running while the system is in Safe
Mode?  The reason I ask is that I am wondering if it is more efficient to run
"Defrag" in safe
