I get a message when trying to boot up as follows:
The amount of system memory has changed
or
The suspend-to-disk file is absent

I'm not sure if this is the correct newsgroup, but here we go.
My system tends to seize/freeze for short periods whilst browsing the net
(doesn't happen off the net at all, even when displaying avi files). Certain
sites cause the seizing more than others, like;

I uninstalled QuickBooks using the proper procedure but I
did not gain back any of the disk space it was using.  My
drive shows 95% full but I don't have any programs other
than Windows 98 loaded now.

I have an older pc running Win98SE.  I installed a memory
upgrade - 512 MB - in addition to the original 128 MB.  
The system recognizes the added memory on POST, but with
the new module in place Windows will not open, if Safe

My computer shuts down with no prompt from me at various
times throughout the day.  I am typically not physically
using the computer for a little while and with no warning,

alight i just built my new pc, and overclocked my althon
xp 3000+ to 2236mhz (fsb x multipler= 213 x 10.5). I have
CPU-z saying 2217mhz, Directx 9.0c saying 2.3ghz and
window's report tool saying 2158mhz.

when I shut down my windows I get a fatal error massage

hit anything on the keyboard it usually shuts it down. I

In addition to other problems, since I upgraded to 98SE, I
can't open Outlook Express.  I get an error message that
says that "...the application  unable to open the Outlook
Express Message Store."  I have plenty of memory and disk

Since I have un-installed windows98 and do not have the
product code to re-install it,  would I be able to load
windows XP without any problems on the same computer or

I'm playing a PC game with a theme song, incidental sounds
and full voice characterizations.  As soon as I save a
game, all of the voice and incidental sound drops out,
though the theme song at the beginning will still play.
