What are the absolutely required programs for start-up? When I run MSCONFIG
the Startup tab reveals a good many programs, many with esoteric names. Which
are, if any, required?

When I boot up my system resources stand at 70% after I run anything it gets
down into the low 60's eventhough I closed the application. As it gets lower
the system gets slow and eventually hangs. I have a PIII-600 with 256meg ram.

I use to have the "New" and "Find" selections available in the Windows
Explorer's right-click menu.  Today, suddenly the are gone.  I have tried
re-booting, still gone.  Does anybody know how to restore these menu items.

Under IE>Tools>Connections, the setting of "Always Dial my default
