I have been trying to defrag my 4 GB hard drive.  My problem is it won't
complete the defrag cycle.  It will get to 10% and then recycle back to the

Hi, win 95 used to recognize this muti-madia CD with is an audio CD but also
has video files. All win 98 will recognize is that it is an audio CD and I
cant't get to the main menu with the videos.

I have an older computer operating on WIN 98 SE. I installed an ethernet
kit and hooked it up to dsl and all was good til the cd rom went out. I
changed it, and now nothing works, i had to reinstall the ethernet kit and
i kept getting the error "insert win 98 disc" which I did NOT ...

I recently installed McAfee Security Suite 2005; I had a number of problems
with the installation (full uninstall, reinstall, uninstall of the privacy
Seville again (now left off) - system now slow.  However, following this

I need to know the a-b-c to getting a hosts file working.
My windows directory is not named windows.
I have followed the web instructions.  Internet Explorer still brings up a
file that i tried to put in there for 127.0.0.1.  It is

This happened a few months ago and I fixed it, but don't remember what
I did.  I thought I had picked a registry to load from an earlier date,
but that does not make sense to me now.

I have Win 98se. In running "Scan Disk", it said I had a
duplicate folder and to find it and rename it. I did a
find with this info and nothing came back. Can anyone tell
me what folder Scan Disk is referring to and how to rename
