I ran across the following in Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs:
Microsoft Text-to-Speech Engine 4.0 (English)
I can't locate any programs to match up with this entry.

win98se, P3 533, 256mb memory, 8mb sis pci video card,
Norton utilities shows:
1250mb win total memory,
27mb PM free,

On one of my 98SE systems, I am not getting the notification that a USB
device is plugged in and there is no icon in the systray, therefore I do not
have the ability to safely remove it. What do I need to do to get this on my
system? I have that ability on all the XP systems and ...

When I open Control Panel, it takes up to a minute for it to open.
Other programs open fast.

Hi all could any body please recommend  a mem mang't utility that displays
what %  of memory each process is using as I need to track down a mem leak?
I found teakall usefull to  list processes but the mem colum is blank??
Problem occured after

For the past few weeks, when I hit the start button to shut down, it hangs
for about a minute before I can click to shut down.  I've already downloaded

I would like to know what programs must be preserved in the task manager
