I found it necessary to reinstall Windows 98, then discovered that I had lost the product key. Is there any legal way around this, or am I stuck? Thanks.

Please help me....I just formatted my laptop so I could re-install the 98 SE, as there was too much garbage in my system. When I got to the D: and entered Setup....it told setup cannnot be run in DOS mode??? Can someone please tell me how to get it so I can install the system ...

Running windows 98 SE. On startup internet connections show "always dial a connection" if I alter it to "never dial a connection" it is ok but on startup it reverts to "always dial a connection" and yes I do click the "apply button"
