I have a Realtec network adapter that came with my desktop a couple of
years ago. Is there a way of knowing if its adaptable to wireless
connections? Or even it isn't, i have a compatible router and my laptop
is wireless...can the one in the desktop ( if its not wireless ) be ...

Every time I boot up 98SE I get a prompt inviting me to enter my Network

First at all I have a problem that my right clicking on some .exe files only
works sluggish and think maybe because of a corrupt file.
Anyway,yesterday I had the problem that my Windows 98  couldn't shutdown
because I got  this message:

it always takes longer then on other files or folder.

Upon booting windows normally, it goes through 99% of the sequence and then
restarts on it's own. I then get a message on a startup options screen that
says that windows failed to load on the previous attempt so restart it
safemode to diagnose the problem. So I'm in safemode but ...
