Does Win98se have to be installed in the C drive in order for it to work
properly? I have it already on one of my hd's that also has XP home in
another partition. I would like to 'copy' the c drive that has win98se
into another an external backup hd, and yet be able to boot it.

Recently, I tried to load some software (image and video viewer, I think)
from an old (pre-98 I think) CD. It seemed to screw things up pretty well,
so I went back to an ERD which I had saved not long before. Now most things
work OK, but I get three or four errors during boot. ...

Running Windows 98...how can I completely remove a windows login that appears
when I boot the machine up?  It is not a network login, it is only a windows
login.  I have been able to set the password to (nothing), but I can't figure
out a way to remove the login alltogether.  ...
