Windows uses a system called 'file association' to open a file with
the correct program that the file was created in. If a file has an
extension .doc then windows knows that the file is a word document and
uses file association to open the file in the Microsoft Word

I have been using Win 98 since past 5 yrs without any issues and m
setup is a 810E Motherboard/256 MB RAM/20 GB HDD/866 MHz Pentium II
Processor
The RAM is rated at 133 MHz.

I've gotten an error msg about an installation not being able to link to
Shell32.dll.  But I have that file in the Win/System directory.  Is it a
problem with a version?  How do I update/upgrade/replace the one there with
the best copy available?  I have access only to dialup...  ...
