My Sharp AJ 5030 printer locked up and I went through a
reset process that worked (I can print a test page from
it).  However, then I was unable to print through the
computer.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer

Strike that I dont drink!!!!  The fix to my July 2 post in
this forum for "error printing to lpt1" problem was in
the "system.ini" file
Anyways.... After some more deduceing, I FINALLY went to

 I'm getting an error message whenever I try to print
regardless of the source.  The message states:  There was
an error writing to the usb002 for the printer (Lexmark
Optra E310) Data error (cyclic redundancy check).  I've

I have two computers one xp and the other is 98. They run
on a wireless network and i am able to share files just

Our mother board only supports one parallel port, we can't
add another due to no isa slots.

a driver usb to parallel or something that the dos program
