I cannot get the Win 98 SE machine to connect to a shared
printer on a Win 2K Pro box.  They're both in the same
workgroup and I've loaded the Win 95/98 drivers onto the
Win 2K Pro box so it can be shared with computers using

i have installed an hp officejet7130 which appears to be
installed on a dot4_001 port.  In the printer wizard i now
have no usb ports appearing.  I'm trying to install a
deskjet 812c on a usb port but the wizard doesn't show any

I understand from the instructions how to change the
printer time out settings, but what I need to learn is
CHANGE THE SETTINGS TO WHAT??? Larger or smaller numbers
(time in seconds).  Do I have to know the size of the file

I had problems with my Windows 98 SE and Outlook Express.  
I spent 3-4 hours with a tech on each problem yesterday to
get it resolved.  Now I can not get my HP 932C printer to
print from the internet.  It will print a test page.  I

Epson Stylus C84 sometimes prints header and right side of
page with blurry and overlapped characters.  This happens
with Word, Excel, and Outlook.  It does not happen with
PowerPoint, web printouts or printer test page.  Help,

we have a win 98 client that is on a single nt4 sp6 domain
we run navision financials ver 1.2 and also 2 xp pro
clients, we print packing slips and invoices 8.5x11 on an
ibm laser and 4x6 shipping labels on a  datamax allegro 2

I am having a problem printing on Windows 98. When I print
more than a couple of pages at one time the computer
freezes. I am thinking that it has to do with the size of
the print spool.

I am trying to re-install the s/w for a Canon
Multipass6000 printer. Part way through the installation,

port on my Compaq M300 laptop running W98se.  I can't
select USB as one of the available ports when adding the
printer. Any suggestions? Thx.
