Hi... While printing from WordPerfect, ver. 7 I receive
the following: PFPPOP70 caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff7a138.

Trying to pring & communications fault comes up,"unable to
establish bi-directional communications with printer".
Pressing continue on screen will allow printer to print.
However, now printer will not print. Items show up in

When i go to print to my Epson Stylus Colour 400 in
windows i get an EPSON Despooler Error "Initialisation
failed: could not open the spool file"
The printer prints fine from dos.

1) Have already rebooted pc and printer.
2) Tried to print from NotePad. Also, received same

I was trying to print something that was on the screen,
there was nothing on the paper. The ink catridge is full.
The printer is on. There was typing on the screen. I
clicked on print. I put the paper where it was supposed to

The old lpt1 printer died and was replaced.  The new
printer only has a USB connection.  We have some old apps
that only print to lpt1.  Is there a way to capture the
lpt1 port and redirect it to the USB printer?

Many thanks - I am nearly there. Have installed the new port (LP2) and it is
recognised when installing the printer.
As before, at this stage an adjustment has to be made but I cannot remember
just how.
