Hi, I got a Gateway "Astro" trying to reinstall a HP Deskjet 812c after the
printer was removed. (Win98se, 400mhz Celeron, 64mb ram).
Nothing I've tried works. HP e-mail support has given up.
It looks like I cannot get the 'hpfusb98.inf' to load...which is supposed to
SPOOLSS.DLL was not found21 Nov 2004 18:16 GMT1
Not sure why this started, but this has recently just started to pop up upon
startup and I can no longer print.  Any advice on how to find/restore this?

I am trying to print on HP Laserjet 4m plus and the system runs
Win98SE.
I used to have Epson 500 on that machine but it fell apart, so
I know LP1 is not busted.

Thanks to Hewlett-Packard's so-called "tech" so-called "support," my
computer is now left unable to install any printer.
When I "add printer" from the PRINTERS folder, and the wizard does some
file copying, but the newly added printer does not appear in the
hp3330 spits out dos print job after ~15 seconds10 Nov 2004 22:35 GMT1

go into dos program to enter some stuff for printing and after 15 seconds or
so the (what we will call) header spits out.
tried every which way on all printer settings but still can't get it to

I have an IBM Thinkpad 1452i (~1999), with WIN98 original version.  I
am attempting to install an Epson Stylus Photo 925, but having a
problem.
There is an ISB port on this computer, and I connected the printer to
SPOOL32.EXE01 Nov 2004 13:10 GMT1
I'm using Win98SE. . .and ZoneAlarm is warning me that SPOOL32.EXE is
attempting to access the Internet. (The people at the ZoneAlarm forum refered
me here.)
Is this a legtimate file?  It's located in \windows\system.
