If I enter a url in Internet Explorer which is incorrect or cannot be completed, I'm redirected to search.msn.com which offers to "help". I hate this .... I'd rather get the standard error message with the url I entered intact in the address bar so that I can edit it.

How do you load cdrom driver from a win 98 bootdisk on a laptop with inter-changable cdrom & floppy drives that use the same bay? New install on a newly partition & formatted fat32 disk. I can't get a win dir either?

Had problem-probably a memory problem and system will now only boot into SAFE MODE. In safe mode the CD drive now is not accesible . It is physically OK (floppy DOS boot disk accesses it OK).
