I put in a new 80gig drive in addition to the old one, and an extra RAM chip. At first, all seemed well, but now I notice the PC briefly slows down - I can tell as the mouse cursor staggers / slow down for a few seconds while the processor is doing something else.

I want to wipe out my hard drive of and erase win 98 and win 2k on it so that i can start over with win 98 and install win 2003 serve. this can be accomplished by running fdisk and reformatting right???

I just reformatted the HD on a computer I'm giving away. I have the OEM Master recovery disk which includes Win98. I no longer have the win 98 booklet with the code strip. The CD has written on it MS# X04 91841 368 00024 000.
