I put in a new 80gig drive in addition to the old one, and an extra RAM chip.
At first, all seemed well, but now I notice the PC briefly slows down - I can

I have a relatively old PC that I have upgraded but

I have run into a problem trying to re-install Windows 98
on my Gateway G6-400 system using the Gateway System
Restoration CD-ROM.  During the part of the Windows 98
installation process where it checks the file system I get

i bought a new maxtor hdd 40GB but my bois does not support

I have a Micron PC with Windows 98SE and want to use the
Revovery CD to restore factory settings.
Windows 98 was factory loaded, and I have no disk other
than the Recovery CD, which is unreadable from within

I just reformatted the HD on a computer I'm giving away.
I have the OEM Master recovery disk which includes Win98.
I no longer have the win 98 booklet with the code strip.
The CD has written on it MS# X04 91841 368 00024 000.

Checked the Speakers and Cable;  What else??
