My Dell Inspiron 7500 hangs on resume from Standby (alias suspend to
RAM) mode if any USB (mouse, hub) device is plugged in.

I have a Win98SE start up disk. I just want to have the start up disk
recognize my CD and then I can setup Windows OS.
However no matter what CD player I try to use the start up disk always says

I have formated the hard drive.  I insert my Microsoft boot disc & Windows 98
CD-Rom.  I select "1. Start Windows 98 Setup from CD-ROM".   Then the I get
the following:" This driver is provided by Oak Technology, etc..."  But once
I get to this line " Device Name : OEMCD001" ...

Is it possible to reinstall Windows 98 over a previous installation, AND to
keep the already  installed applications settings?
(My aim is to restore all the original setting regarding the system itself
and be sure that all the windows components are not corrupted).

I have an old computer that is win.3.11 I cleared the drive from the
instrucions of a pc world magazine. I don/t have a Cd to format it for win.95
or 98. Does anyone know the format  for either one of these? Can they be
formatted without a CD?

I have a WIN98 SE system with 128MB of memory.  Every so often I get a
warning message or my computer freezes up.  The message is: "NOT ENOUGH
STACKS.  Increase the number of stacks in the startup file.
How do I increase the number of Stacks to the Maximum allowed for WIN98

I originally had a 4.00gb HD as my main C:\ drive (with call of my
system files on it)....the drive was also partitioned to create 3
drives...Drives C:\, E:\, F:\.  Over time it has out grown the small
size and I decided to install a new drive. I also have a 2ndary drive
