I am attempting to install WIN 98SE on a Dell Latitude. I formatted the HD and am doing a clean install. I received the error message SUWIN caused a General Protection Fault in module USER.EXE at 000B:0094 Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Given that Win98SE is now End Of Life, are updates (up to the date of EOL) still available? If I install Win98SE on a new machine, will I be able to automatically get all the hotfixes (say via Windows update) or will I have to install them one by one?

the cd/dvd-burner fails to burn at full speed... If I try to burn a cd faster than 16X, then the burner don't get data in time. The buffer in Nero empties and refills all the time if the buffer underrun handling is on (default).
