I am helping a friend who just deleted a "bunch of stuff" before calling me for help.. the C: drive keeps filling up and he runs out of room, he had no idea what was doing it, but he started just deleting folders instead of removing programs via the Add/Remove function.. (sigh)

I am running windows 98SE with a desktop computer that only have 2 USB outlets in the front. I recently plugged in a USB 4 port hub. When I unplugged my web cam from the computer and plugged it in to the Hub it said on the screen that new hardware was found and wanted to reinstall

Any advice for this problem. My trusty W98se install is noticably slower with 500 Mb of memory installed as 2-256 Mb sticks than it is w/386 Mb of memory. 1-256 Mb and 1-128 Mb stick. All memory is identical Micron P133 Cl 2.

Strange problem just came up on my WIN98ME OS.
When I 'run>msinfo32>tools>internet explorer repair tool> "NOTHING!"
As in no dialog box comes up, just a quick flash as though something SHOULD HAVE come up...and then NOTHING.
