I remember that you could load all the various windows drivers onto
the harddrive.  There was some registry key to point to these drivers
so when windows looked for a driver it would find the driver on the
harddrive instead of asking for you to enter the path to the driver.

I have an old computer and I want to format it and reinstall the Win 98 back
in it.  I'm afraid that I can't find the book with all my information in it.
Such as model # and etc.  How can I find it in the computer before I
reinstall it?
