I have been given an old WIN 98 computer, which comes with hard disk, CD
reader and floppy drive, but NO USB port.
I have a Belkin USB card, which I have now installed.  I have used the CD
that came with the USB Card, but it still asked for drivers.

I have a windows 98 CD version, but my laptop won't boot from a cd and
there's no way to make it.
Is there any way I can make or get Windows 98 on floppy disks?

When I run DOS program under W98/DOS7 they look like they have been
flattened, like a wide screen movie viewed on a regular screen.
Is there any way to fix this? Mode command?

i inherited a new used computer... running really fast as i pared down
the previous owners huge pile of installed software... but i did a
stupid thing... i used regedit to change the name of the previous
registered owner to me... now mr gates wants me to reinstall... but i no

I have my 98SE installed on a reasonably new system (well, a few years ago;
it's a 2.x GHz Celeron-bases ASUS board, one with some sort of
BIOS-interface controlling chip that can only be driven from IIRR Windows 2k
or later - but seems to work fine without needing that).

I had a bunch of junk, at least I thought it was junk, in my C:\
Windows\Temp folder that could not be sent to the
Trash, so I did what I have done on previous occasions and that was to
delete the Temp Folder. Now when I boot the system, I get a MSDOS window
