I'm sure the problem is caused by something I have done.
I had ScriptSentry running on my computer.  Everything had always worked
fine.  I do not remember changing anything that should have caused that

Recently my computer has been acting very unstable.  
Sometimes, during bootup, I get a message about CCAPP and
the computer freezes and won't continue booting.  Can
anybody tell me what CCAPP is?  Has someting on the

When I boot up, I always have a blank window displayed
with a file name for a window title.  It appears
as "C:\Extreme_Live_Show.HTA".  It was some "adult" site.

I received an E-Mail purporting to be offering an option
for speedier downloads on the Internet, however, when I
opened it to find out more, it turned out to be a link to
a porn site, which has now downloaded an application onto

I had install Office 2000 and i had update to
Office 2000 SR-1 with the patch of Microsoft.
When i try to reinstall Office 2000 from his cd
i receive from the beggining the message:

Symantec (Norton's AntiVirus) has suggested that if I'm
not using FTP Server or Telnet that I can remove them.  
Doing so will help my system to be less vulnerable to
attacks.

I had to reformat my harddrive recently. When I reloaded
Win98, it didn't have the games on my start menu like
before. Do I need to download from somewhere? or???? Can
anyone help me?

After windows boots up, when you click on an icon on the
desktop to start a program nothing happens.  The same
occurs when you click on a program from the start menu.  
The items that are in the startup folder do not start up.

What is Winservn?  I somehow got connected with a P
(Purity Scan) Sear1 application. I tried to delete it,
however it must have deleted a windows application that
also used it. So, I reloaded Windows 98 SE and updated

I bought an used laptop with windows 98 os. However there
is not a "paint" application on it. Is there anyway to
install it. I think the last user somehow removed it. I
bought this thing because I needed to draw and design. And
