How do you keep programs from opening when you start up
under windows 98. I have checked the Scheduler and do not
find them in there. ICQ is one of the programs
If you have any ideas I would love to here them

I'm running Win98Se, but I recently tried installing Win2k to another
partition. Win2k didn't work out well for me, so I want it gone now,
which looks easy enough, just a format of that partition. However,
somewhere in C: I'm left with a duel-boot menu thing when I reboot.

not know how this started happening but it is inconvenient to have to close
it each time. How can I stop that from happening?

I tried to find my problem with my dialup networking and
did the start run SFC extract 1 file winsoc.dll start

paint? I have lost it when trying to add more windows
hardwhere.  Also, my recycle bin has lost the tect for it
and my Internet Explorer has larger fonts than it used to

when i go to shut down it goes to window saying shutting
down but not do anything just stays there. how can i fix
