Whenever I try to load any application, the application
fails to load and I get the following scvhost error

When using Microsoft Greetings, When I click on an image,
the words come up but now image, just a green area as to
where the image should be. I have reinstalled both windows
98 and Greetings software.

Have a Toshiba satellite pro 440CDT lap top which I
upgraded with 64k memory chip, then W98 from 95 then AOL
8.0 from 5.0.
Went to open AOL and got the following error message.

Why am I unable to download updates for windows 98?
