We just purchased Microsoft FrontPage 2003, will it run on
Windows 98? If not, we will have to reconsider installing
it, just wondered if anyone knows the answer to this

I would like to know how to download a PBE.exe program
which I need in order to open my jpg files.
I am operating Windows 98 and after catching a virus this
program no longer seems to exist.

No matter what I try I can no longer get a (pdf) file to
download. I keep getting a message that it can not find
the acrobat plugin. I have downloaded ver 6.1 of acrobat
reader and I still have the same problem

Every time i start my computer it comes up with this
screen asking me if i want choose normal mode, or safe
mode etc.
how do i disable this and select normal mode by default.

I have a digital camera!  when I load the images on xp, I
can view them by the XP slide show.  I simply hit the
arrow keys to scroll thru the photos.  With Win 98, each
photo is opened separately and closed before viewing the

Safe  Mode.

Can anyone tell me how to search for Word document files
containg an asterisk (*) or a tilda (~)? If I use Find...
and put a * in the 'Containing Text' field, it lists
everything as it sees it as a wildcard!

I had a problm with no desk top earlier. I finally was
able to reload the shdocvw.dll file that was missing.
However, I am now getting an error message once windows
loads saying... explorer illegial

Well, I had the spam messages supposedly from Microsoft systems, and under
many other IDs, down to three a day prior to today.  Today, Jan 20, about 60
similar messages (all 143 KB), came in.  What has happened?  Is this a magic
date?
