Error Reading CD-ROM in Drive E18 Jan 2004 02:04 GMT1
 When I insert the CD-ROM into the reader, a blue screen
appears with the following message: Please insert CD-ROM
0312250126 with serial number 1732-36ED in  drive E.  If
still in the drive it may require cleaning.

My intitial take on <>.dll files is that applications you load can modify
the dlls and if you need to re-load the OS, there is chance that the old
DLLs from the factory disk are not adequate. You always have the DLLS which
were backed up from when re-installed the OS, depending on ...

I have W98SE installed. While on-line I accidentally
turned off my surge protector.  Scan-disk was normal on
reboot.  However, when I accessed the control panel via

My Windows 98 automatically loads Outlook when I start my
computer, but it is not configured properly so it does not
open correctly.  This forces me to have to manually close
