I seem to have a trojan horse virus called Proxy.BL in my
windows system 32 service.exe file
Has anyone heard of this virus and ayn suggestions on how

Last night I noticed my girlfriends comp was acting funny.
When I try to bring up word 2000 or norton system works
2003 it hangs for 3 to 5 min. Word looks like it is ok

I just installed Windows 98 on my laptop's new hard drive,
and the dipslay settings are all screwed up. My only two
options are 2-color and 16-bit color. How do I upgrade and
fix this?

Dear Ron, thanks for the help, but when attempted to do
what you indicated below, could not find the SHDOCVW.dll on
Win98_38.cab, or 41.cab files, all cab files looked empty.

Is it possible to disable the keyboard and mouse until an application
completes or some hotkeys are pressed?

Lost power and the PC (Gateway) will only boot up into DOS
at the C:> prompt. Tried to restore with restoration disk
and then reinstall OS Window 98. Once it goes through and
