I traded my pc with windows 98 today for a nother pc with
windowas 98.  This one doesn't seenm to have all of 98
that my other did. I have somehow lost the restore disk.
Is there anyway I can get a download of 98 before the

Inadvertantly started computer in safe mode.  How do I get
it back to starting normally?  Safe mode distorts my
wallpaper and since I am almost computer illiterate, can't
get it back.

98se: When computer starts the following message comes up:
WJView ERROR ERROR: Could not execute Main: the system
cannot find the file specified.
What is WJView and how do you stop the error message from

Quicktime program isn't installing so I've been told to
follow Quicktime instructions to rectify the problem.  One
of the instructions is to delete WINDOWS\TEMP folder
contents.  Is this an okay thing to do ??????

My scanner which is hooked up via usb port is not
working.  I don't know if it just broke or is not hooked
up correctly.  It is plugged directly into the usb port
and the scanner.  

When loading QB 2004 onto win 98 it will not let me saying
I am missing C:\window\temp\{2B02F82E-A9B9-458C-80E5-
3EA8C0DE8471\MFC70.DLL} file for registration support.

Evey time i open a work sheet I get a warning popup
saying i already have one open and should close it or

I just purchased a epson printer/scanner modelCX5200.  
When I try to load the software I get a message that
states:"A Fatal Error has occurred"
Then goes on to say:  " Runtime Error

what application am i supposed to use to open an ASP file?

when i shutdown my computer  " it's now safe to turn off
your computer " this message won't come....only disply of
window 98 comes and below that one message comes " window
is shutting down "

When I select "details" for the folder view in Windows
Explorer, the right panel shows nothing. All other views
(small icons, etc.) work OK. This problem seemed to happen
out of the blue (the details view used to work). Any ideas
