hi everyone - i have windows 98 installed on my home system
and am trying to install my son's Sony Net MD system.
Apparently i need "second version" but am not sure what
this means (i am pretty low tech!).  can anyone help?  thanks

I used Windows 98 Add/Remove to remove McAfee Virus
protection from my friend's computer.  It is no longer on
the Add/Remove program list, but when the system boots it
stops and says it cannot find a device file that the

I have Ad-aware 6 (free download). Does it have a seeting
in which it can catch adware, bugs, etc. immediately and
delete them? Or do I have to continue to run a full scan
every time in order to remove bugs, etc.?

When I go into the Help program that comes with Windows 98,
and click on the start of any Troubleshooting utility
within Windows 98, a blank screen displays. Can you help?

Opening up Win Explorer brings an inverted sort order on
the display (Z > A). Which parameter setting do I tweak to
give an Alph-sorted display on start-up? Also, I think it
is the same problem, opening up any app. (eg Windows media

and prints delivery address near top of penvelope. Worked
