Every time I try to open a new folder from a right click
on the desktop drop down menu I get "Explorer caused an
invaled page fault in module SHDOC.DLL at 0167:5001f52f.
I'm using win98se.

0001:0000a2ec an in Qtask I receive a fatal exception 0E
at 017F;BFF90FFF and then a QTASK general protection fault
in GDI.EXE at 001:00005e00 can any one help me fix this

when booting win 98SE i rec msg  "error loading explorer.exe" you must
reinstall
windows. when i click ok a notice "error starting program " box states a
required .DLL file. C\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COMCTL32.DLL. was not found

I am setting up a home computer with Win 98 on it.  I wnt

refuses to run. I can't start it in safe mode to remove

I downloaded a file from the internet and placed it in
office binder by mistake. How do I move it to another file
and open it?

My virus software discovered a trojan horse downloader but
none of the "definitions" explained how to get rid of it.  
The only file that could not be "healed" is ISTSVC.EXE in

When I try to start my computer I get a message that says
can not find operating system.  When I try to use my
recovery disk it tells me to take it out and my computer
will reboot yet it never fixes the problem.  Any ideas?
