I am using SpyBot & Adaware6 on my W98SE. I run both on a
weekly basis. For the past several weeks SpyBot has not

I downloaded directx8.1 which the website says is made for
window 98- which I am running.  Then the exe file tells me
it isn't compatible with my version of windows. can anyone

My "system tools" (and all contents) shortcut has
disappeared from the "accessories" menu in "programs".
Why? And how can I get it back?

This is a frustrating problem.
I've been using windows since it came out and am now using 98se.
In all that time I still haven't been able to solve this problem.
If anyone knows how to do this by tweaking the registry, please let me in on the secret.

every time i try to start a program it says cannot find
start.exe, the file needed to start programs.  i think
the file got messed up from a virus  anyone have an idea

After rebooting my computer I try to go into Explorer. My
system attempts to read the Floppy A drive and locks up
the system for about 20 seconds they loads Explorer. I
have to insert a floppy in and log on to that drive in
