Not sure if right newsgroup, but I need help.
I'm using Win98 OS and whenever I try to open a .pdf file
I get an error message to the effect that file can't be
opened.  The version of Adobe that is on the computer is

I tryed to open my Micosoft Word 2000 and got this pop up
window called [Winword], it shows a box with the words "An
error has occurred in your program. To keep working away,

I would like to remove references to programs that have been removed form my
computer long ago.  The two areas that I seem to see these references are

I keep getting eror messages whenever I try to open
certain applications. They end with the message RichEdit
line insertion error.
