Contracted a virus or worm. Installed a virus program. One
of the corrupted files was in Notepad.exe. After the
program ran and cleaned or healed corruptions it can no
longer find the Notepad.exe file.  My 98 Windows disk is

Runs really slow even though loads of hard disk space.

Can anyone tell me how to change the default folder when I
start up windows explorer. It goes to my start up folder,

I have had my PC since 98, and it has served me well
until about a year or so ago. I opted to qownload an
upgrade to win98, which took for ever ( iam still on
56kbs) all seemed ok until I restarted the next day. the

please help me.I had installed additional fonts but
unfortunately it affects my other application. Example,I
opened business card maker but I cannot understand some

all of a sudden whenever I click on any file with the
type "Application," my PC does NOT launch the application
but comes back with the "Program Not Found" Window,

I've got a friend running Win98SE, on a Compaq 333MHz, with 128Mb of RAM.
When he copies something from the internet and tries to paste into a word
processor (Works 4.5, to be precise) it tells him the memory is full.

Today, after working all day, I tried getting into my Word
Program (part of Office 97), but I would get as far as the
Word billboard and it freezes. When I press Ctrl-Alt-
Delete the prompt comes up with "insufficient memory."
