In windows 98, when you click on the start button amenu
comes up with control panel,find, run,etc... I want to
remove the favorites box and the document box from the
start menu or bar. I know there is a way. How could I

Sometimes when I start windows a program is causing my
computer to hang. If I disable this program then it should
be OK I hope !!!

I'd bet the farm this is the wrong group BUT.
When I open "run" and type in "msconfig" the "msconfig" screen comes
up for no more than 3 seconds and then vanishes.
