I am running Windows 98 with Explorer 6.0
I have installed the above noted patch 3 times.
Windows Update keeps telling me I need the patch even
though it's been installed.

I operate a Win98 PC and in the past few days everytime I
try to play Freecell a white screen appears and after
pressing the close button a "General protection fault"
error appears.

when windows starts loading i am getting an error that
reads:could not execute main:the system cannot find the
file specified.at the top it refers to wjview error.
how can i fix this error.

What, if any, benefit is obtained by using C: for OS and D: for
applicatins?  Assume a second HDD, E:, for data.

WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR UPGRADING
FROM WINDOWS TO WINDOWS 98 UPGRADE.

When logging on to my computer, I get an error message
every time stating:
 "C:Windows/Downloader/ProgramFiles/bridge.dll"
And then below that it says  "specified module could not

Any Suggestions on an older computer, about 5 years old.
Do not have the recovery CD or the OEM Windows 98.
I've contacted company and am not getting any where with
that.

This is my second try to get help in four days.  I guess
that my previous post was deleted, I hope I'm not

I have a 4 yr old Compaq Presario 5475, Celeron 500Mz
processor running Win98SE.  It originally cam with a 4 GB
HD, which I've replaced with two hard drives, each with 2
partitions: Drive 1 15GB total, C: 4.4GB of 7.1GB used
