Fogive me if this post has been addressed before but I

I am recieving the following message when trying to open
a word or excel document over an network using windows 98
and office 2000 SB.  "An exception OE has occurred at

I,m running win98se. I have all the updates.
for some reason dllhost sometimes runs and eats all my mem.
the only way to stop it is to alt control delete and end
task or reboot.

On startup of Windows 98SE, a number of shortcut popups
appear, searching for filename.exe.  These are random file
names and the program never exists.  I have deleted the
shortcuts from the start menu but on next start up new

having trouble, well in fact, cannot view pictures in
microsoft word. as in, they insert into the document, but
i can't see  them to change size, other properties or
finagle with them. they print fine however.
