I tried everything to get works to uninstall so I could do a clean install and nothing seems to work. Have even done the Microsoft Way and still have no uninstall Shows Message 1706 error and missing service files.

I was told that I could download the upgrade from Microsoft, however, I can't seem to find it. My reason for this upgrade is so that I can use a newly purchased JumpDrive 2.0 Pro.
My desktop file (c:\windows\desktop) was deleted. This action also deletes the recycle bin. Since I cannot the bin, I cannot recover the desktop. Is there a way to restore these items?
