When I boot up my Windows 98 computer, I get the following
error, can not find CTL3D.DLL Windows needs this file to
run C:\oplimit\ocraware.exe
I click ok and the next error says, access to specified

I had some things saved to my desktop. Now when I try to
open them, it is telling me
re:C:WINDOWS\Desktop\Re Phil/Apryl.eml is not a valid
Win32 application with a big RED X.

Trying to use a few of the standard .WAV files supplied in /Windows/Media,
I find them usually low in volume and badly distorted.  They sound like
phonograph records running v-e-r-y slowly.  It's intermittent; sometimes
the system boots up with the .WAV sound effects working ...

I have to rebuild my Windows 98 over the weekend and when
I tried to reinstall Word 2000 I was asked to give the 25
letter/digit code from my Certificate of Authenticity.  
The one that came with my computer originally would not

Don't know if this is the proper ng, but...
I installed version 6.2 of EZ Antivirus, but the e-mail protection feature
will not work because of a supposed LSP conflict with some other program. Of
course I've been trying to get a solution from them, but I'm getting the

I have an alarm sound, which sounds like an ambulance
siren, go off. It seems to be when windows hangs the alarm
goes off. If I shut down programs that aren't being used

I have downloaded Media Player 9 from the Microsoft and it
causes boot problems in Window 98 SE.  I have tried it on
three of my Pentium II & III computers.  A 333, 400 &
600.  If I uninstall it back to any other version, 7 and

Happens when I try to open links in Outlook email msgs.

I am trying to write my backup from Quicken 2004 directly
to my CDR/CW drive.  It works fine to a floppy, but when I
try to write to the CD it gives an error, something to the
effect of the drive is not in the proper format or media
