I just got a new machine running Win 98. There is no
character map. Can this be downloaded somewhere?

I needed to install Adobe Acrobat 6 to view some files.  
I got a message saying I had to update to Internet
Explorer 5 or higher.  I went to www.microsoft.com and
downloaded IE 6.

Is there anyway to get netsend (command prompt) on older
operating systems, specifically win98 because I will soon
lead my household as the server and without the ability
to netsend, i have no way to annoy, i mean update my

I'm having trouble with frequent hangs, and it seems to be getting
worse --that is, more frequent.  I'm running Win98 SE on a Super
Micro P4SBA+ P4 1.8GHz.  (Further details on request.)  It's a
funny hang, because without warning, it stops responding to both

I use internet cafes a lot to do research, and am always copying and
pasting stuff from the web browser to Wordpad. When I use Internet
Explorer, if I copy a story and try to paste it into Wordpad, I have
to use "paste special" to get unformatted text, which is what I want.

I have word 97 and recently tried to spell check and got a
message that I was missing msgrEN32.dll.  What is this and
can I do somethinf so that it will spellcheck again.  
Spell check doesn't work in outlook either.
