I HAVE A COMPAQ PRESARIO 7470 USING WINDOWS 98 SEC ED.
WHEN I LOG ON, I GET A MESSAGE "APPS.INF FILE MISSING."
HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS OR HOW DO I FIND IT AND PUT IN
WIN.INF?

what does this folder contain, and should it be emptied on

Help!  When starting my computer I get a blue screen

Ran the windows update on a win98 (first) edition.  First thing downloaded
was MSIE 6.1.  Rebooted, then went back for all the critical updates.
First, got directX 9.0.  After rebooting , the game Freecell will launch,
