I would appreciate any wisdom anyone could offer about

Well I got a new hd, to be a slave, and xp from a friend.
Not sure what one it is.  Ok, I tried setting up the hd,
set it to slave specs from manufac. website, now I got a
missing operating system error, and bios does not

I have windows 98. I installed norton 2004 and i can not
open internet explorer 6.0.

I hope someone can help out here.  I recently formatted
and reinstalled Windows 98SE onto my pc.  I just
discovered that when I try to create a new folde, I
cannot - the option is not even avaiable to me!!!

Every time I turn on my pc I get an error message "The
configuration file is missing.  How do I replace the
missing file.

information of these devices in regards to their read and
write speed?

For some strange reason, I no longer have the viewer that
came with Windows 98.  I also dont' have the Windows 98
disc....(can't find it).  How can I get it back so I can
wiew pictures??

I have Windows Media Player 7.10 and for some reason it
will not play sound. I did a fresh re-install of the
