During startup my computer stops half way through and a
notice says problem with SYSTEM.INI FILE missing file
fastpara.vxd and SHLDDRV.VXD press any key to continue,
could anyone help with this please.

Unable to find any info on where to obtain and install the
subject missing app. It "disappeared" from my computer,

disk defragmenter in normal windows continuously restarts
so no defragmenting occurs. is it possible to defragment
in dos or safe mode? How to do it?

I found the problem but dont know how to fix it: the
taskbar (which opens first) is the problem. How do I go

Is there an issue with McAfee VirusScan and 98?
My desktop c drive died two days after Mcafee expired.
When I tried to install it on my new hard drive Windows
98 will not boot up.

In Windows Explorer, JPEG files no longer have the correct
icon.

se that after all clear beep it starts booting up but
after some time again all clear beep is heard and updating
