Where does Windows 98, 98 SE, and Me store their country/region and
language datas in their registries? I am not having luck in determining
what keys have these information.

If I open an existing backup job or create a new one, select Options...,
select the Exclude tab and then select Add..., I get the following error

Recently, I haven't been able to use Windows Explorer.  Internal routines
(like "browse") which rely on Explorer don't work, either.  I can launch most
programs, if they have a short-cut on my desktop.  But, if they're not there,
I can't get at them through Windows Explorer.

Having trouble installing drivers for a PCI sata card.
In the device manager it tells me there is a conflict with the IRQ (11)
which seems to be shared by a number of things - sound card, USB controller
etc..

is there any FREE software to add a WinNT-style logon window to Windows 98 SE?
Also, I need a free disinstaller, and a free software to send faxes using a
Conexant internal COM3 modem (I don't want to use that included in Windows 98
CD).

Have an interesting problem after installing a USB Mass-storage device on
98se system - installation went well BUT...
The problem is that in My Computer each partition on the drive gets shown
twice and each gets its own letter.

I'm trying to transfer files from an old computer running Windows 98 (it was
originally running Windows 95 but was upgraded) to a computer running Windows
XP. The computer running Windows 98 will start up, but it comes up with an
error message and then the blue screen of death ...

Does anyone have any thoughts as to why Disk Defrag only works in Safe Mode
on my PC? Is there some registry setting I can change?

I have Win 98SE with User profiles enabled. Recently, I have had problems
with the Profiles not working correctly. The most recent occasion was that
the PC has to all intents and purposes lost the profile of a particular
