when installing app and also installshield engine 10.0.159 update in
win98 i get same error- 6006 from I.S. wiz.Deleting all in program
files\installshield, temp dirs and updating dcom 98 did not help?!
any ideas..

Every time I attempt to install Media Player 9 everything
goes well until I'm prompted to accept the Agreement. I
click on "Accept", but nothing happens. What am I doing
wrong, please?

Trying to get old motherboard program loaded back onto my first computer ,

Is there a way to run a program in a DOS window under Win98 and have
the CTMouse (CuteMouse) driver installed? CTMouse 2.0 supports the

Whenever I insert a CD into my Win 98 laptop it always launches Wndows Media
Player. How can I change this so that the CD Player app launches instead? I
have a older laptop (only 266mhz) and Media Player takes much longer to load
than the CD Playing app that Windows 9.x shipped ...

can I hook my laptop to my desktop, and be able to get online with both?
exactly how do I go about doing so if possible? Ithe laptop has win98 SE and
the desktop has winXP home...thanks
