As a volunteer, I support an internet community of ordinary users, all Windows, mostly XP. The McAfee Firewall logging seems pretty thorough but its INCREDIBLY frustrating to be emailed logfiles that are in some weird format that I can't read as plain text.

The incoming echo request checkbox in the XP firewall is permanently set to on and the gui does not allow me to reset the checkbox to off. Other than through the GUI for the firewall, is there another way to turn ping echo off? Thanks.

We've got one Windows 2000 Server running ISA Server, which is our firewall, of course. Then we've got another Windows 2000 Server running IIS, where I'm trying to host an ASP.NET application using secure socket layers. However, we've never set this up before.
