I have two Linux servers running the latest AS Redhat.
My VPN server is a basic Windows 2003 machine, supporting pptp, (I
don't have certificate installed yet for l2tp)

I'm having a problem where both XP SP2 and Server 2003 SP1 machines
spontaneously change firewall profiles every couple weeks.  The event
log entry is this:
Event Type:    Success Audit

In a simple home/small office netowork using XP how do I require someone to
enter the username and password of the computer they want to connect to when
they navigate to that computer using My Network Places | Entire Network | MS

Quick question:  When allowing file and print sharing exception via a GPO,
shouldn't the check box be marked in the firewall?  It shows Yes under the
Group Policy tab, and is greyed out preventing modification, but the check

I'm using w2kpro with sp4 through cable connection.  A couple weeks
after installing w2kpro I started getting the lsass shutdown problem,
and installed Zone alarm to stop that.  Yesterday I got fed up with the
massive slowdowns, cpu use near 100% much of the time, and replaced it
