This may be a little off-topic,  but I couldn't find a better newsgroup.
I'm at my wit's end trying to establish a reliable connection between my
router and my cable-modem.  Here are the gory details:

I have a Win 2003 server as domain controller, DHCP and DNS server.
I have 8 client Win Xp Pro.

Two computers both running XP Prof. connected to Belkin wireless router all
on 192.168.3.0 subnet.  File & Printer Sharing enabled on both and MS

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change a port opening
using netsh. The docs say the following command can be used to change a
port mapping:
netsh firewall set portopening protocol=TCP port=80 name=Web

Some of my windows 2000 computers occasionally make netbios calls using
(UDP)port 137, 138  to IP: 10.1.255.255
what is this IP, I can ping no problem, but no information returned when I
do nslookup
